Would you like to volunteer?
The Hope Gala will be held at The Westin Charlotte on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Volunteering at the Gala is a fun way to support JDRF’s mission to find a cure for diabetes. We need help in all areas! We will have a volunteer room where meals and snacks will be served throughout the evening and free parking is provided for all JDRF volunteers. Detailed information about the Gala will be mailed/emailed to volunteers in advance of the event, but don’t hesitate to reach out to Jenn Park if you have any questions, 704-625-4079.
Some quick things to note:
- Volunteers MUST be at least 16 years old to participate.
- Dress code is cocktail attire
- Most shifts require training, so please account for that when planning your evening. Typically training will happen ~30 minutes before your shift starts.

Would you like to donate a Hope Basket?
One special way many families get involved is by donating a Hope Basket. A Hope Basket is a package created in honor of your T1D. Families make it fun by selecting a theme or hobby their T1D loves. Some ideas are a Star Wars themed basket, a Harry Potter theme, golf, arts & crafts, or even Legos! We ask that you write a description of why you chose this theme to honor your loved one and we proudly display it in the silent auction! The JDRF Hope Gala has a very robust silent and live auction. We have something for everyone, from sports memorabilia and weekend vacations to exclusives wines and bourbons.
